Sajama National Park: Located in the northwest of the department of Oruro in the Western Cordillera of the Andes. It is the first Protected Area in Bolivia, its identity marked by the imposing snow-capped Sajama volcano that rises to 6,542 meters above sea level (the highest peak in Bolivia). This important territory has its habitat and unique Queñuas forests (trees that grow at higher altitudes in the world) and an important variety of wild flora and fauna. Complementing the landscape are beautiful lagoons, hot springs, Geysers and Chullpares of wonderful color and great cultural value.
