It is a natural attraction of great beauty, whose main authors are water and wind that, through their erosive effects on the terrain, created whimsical cone and crater formations that resemble a lunar landscape. We see these curious formations, the fairy chimneys, the typical ones that rise in the shape of a tube, like the best known in Turkey, in Cappadocia. In the mountains around La Paz, the clay contains different minerals that give it various colors, going from whitish to violet with the most common brown and reddish. There are several trails that lead to the heart of the valley, from which you can see beautiful views of the site and surroundings. The visitor can also observe cacti and vizcachas, typical species of Andean fauna and flora.
