Copacabana, Bolivia is located on the shores of Lake Titicaca, and is the main city where tourists come to visit Lake Titicaca on the Bolivian side. The city has approximately 6,000 inhabitants and is located at 3,841 meters above sea level. (12,602 feet). It has picturesque architecture and a relaxing atmosphere. It is especially known for the different tours that leave for Isla del Sol, which is a popular tourist destination. Previously inhabited by the Aymaras. Copacabana means "view of the lake" in their language. It was later conquered by the Incas and then by the Spanish. Copacabana is a city full of historical significance.

Day 1

Tourist bus La Paz Copacabana 8:00 to go along a paved road to the town of Copacabana, located 151 km. From the city of La Paz, an approximate trip of 3 and a half hours, the road borders Lake Titicaca, with an impressive view of the Cordillera Real, arrival at the Copacabana peninsula.

After lunch at 1:30 pm we begin our tour to Isla del Sol (shared boat), crossing the lake for approximately an hour and a half until we reach the southern part of Isla del Sol, where we take a short walk along the Yumani stairs built by our ancestors until reaching the fountain of Youth, there one can purify themselves by drinking a little sacred water, it is believed that this fountain is the fountain of eternal youth, and we will also enjoy the beauty of that beautiful garden inca.
We board the boat to head towards Copacabana and then return on a bus to the City of La Paz.
